A smartwatch project called Rufus Cuff was launched on the Indiegogo collective fundraising platform. They can be called a full-fledged communicator, which differs from other "smart" watches with extended functionality.
The Rufus Cuff is a smartwatch with a large 3-inch multi-touch display with a resolution of 400 x 240 pixels. They can work both in conjunction with mobile devices on iOS and Android, and as an independent full-fledged device. They can even make voice calls, chat on social networks and listen to music. The watch also monitors the physical activity of its owner.
The watch case is made of polycarbonate plastic and is protected from moisture according to the IPX7 standard. Leather or polymer bracelets of various colors can be changed to suit your mood.
The Rufus Cuff is equipped with a mobile processor, 2 or 4 GB of RAM, depending on the configuration, a built-in 16 GB flash drive, front camera, LED flash, gyroscope, microphone, speakers, accelerometer and GPS module. Support for Wi-Fi and Bluetooth wireless interfaces is also announced.
While Rufus Cuff is at the fundraising stage. Thanks to Indiegogo users, they have raised more than $ 146, 000 to date. To start mass production, developers need 200 thousand dollars. They had just over a week to collect the remaining amount.
