Dracula's Castle invites guests to spend a night on Halloween

Fans of all kinds of horror movies will be in for a "pleasant" surprise, or rather a prize - the opportunity to find themselves in reality among the revived nightmares, but not just somewhere, but in Transylvania in the infamous Dracula's castle, and even on Halloween night. And it's absolutely free.

Such an opportunity will be provided by Airbnb and Dacre Stoker, great-nephew of the Irish writer Bram Stoker, author of the novel "Dracula". The organizers propose to answer the question: "What would you say if you met face to face with Dracula in his own castle?" The author of the best answer will receive the coveted prize mentioned above.

So, first, the lucky winner will have a ride on a horse-drawn carriage through Transylvania in the company of Dacre Stoker, a recognized expert vampirologist, who will reveal many secrets from the life of vampires along the way, and also tell something about Dracula himself, to whom he once dedicated his novel by Bram Stoker.

And here is the castle itself, where the guest will enter through a secret entrance. The path to the heart of the castle leads through creaky staircases and dark corridors. The first stop is the large dining room. Here the guest will have a candlelit dinner prepared according to the menu described in the novel. After the meal, he will be able to familiarize himself with all 57 rooms of the castle and at the same time meet “unexpected guests” along the way, who come to life with the rising of the moon.

The guest will be offered to spend the night in a crypt in a velvet coffin. At night, his sleep (if in such a situation it is possible at all) will be accompanied by eerie creaks, whispers and wolf howls outside the castle walls. Before sunrise, you will need to tightly curtain the windows and extinguish all candles.

Before the start of the tour, however, the guest will be warned about the prohibition to carry items that scare off vampires - garlic, silver jewelry, crosses and other religious items. Selfies are also highly undesirable.

Unfortunately, the acceptance of applications on the site ended on October 17, and we just have to wait for the results of the competition and find out the name of the winner.
