Altwork has created a computer desk at which you can work lying down

For some, winter is skating and skiing, but for others, alas, colds and flu. However, in the age of the Internet, even a hospital bed can become a workplace. The main thing is to be able to use a computer like in an office.

Altwork has unveiled the $ 7, 650 Signature Altwork Station adjustable frame computer desk at CES 2021.

The main goal of the developers is to relieve users of the discomfort of endless sitting or standing and stress on the spine, which will help them focus on work. The idea is simple: if earlier workspaces were created around computers, now they should be around workers. Therefore, the Signature Altwork Station is fully adapted to the needs of the user.

The employee can change the position of the body at will - from the usual seated to reclining and even horizontal, which became possible thanks to six movable segments, which are adjusted using built-in electric drives.

An important detail: regardless of the user's position, the mouse, keyboard and other peripherals will not fall to the floor as they are held in place by the magnetic tabletop. And for owners of laptops and tablets, a swivel panel is provided.

The length of the Signature Altwork Station is adjustable from 140 to 173 cm, the width is 86.3 cm, and the weight is 95 kg. The device covers an area of 1.7 square meters. m and can freely move around the office using five rollers. It is designed for people weighing up to 115 kg and a height of 155 to 195 cm.
