Focal unveils the world's most expensive headphones

Each CES is, among other things, without a doubt a "vanity fair", where the world's leading manufacturers of consumer electronics are trying to prove their own uniqueness to the whole world. CES 2017 was no exception.

The renowned audio equipment manufacturer French company Focal has loudly announced its ambitions by presenting headphones called Utopia, the price of which is commensurate with a prestigious executive car - 120, 000 dollars, and with an optional stand, this figure increases by 12, 000 "green".

By the way, Focal's competitor, Onkyo, a similar product - diamond-encrusted headphones H900Ms, estimated "only" 80, 000 euros.

The design of Utopia was created by the famous French jewelers, father and son Philippe and Mathieu Tournare. They used 18 carat gold and 6 carat diamonds. All work was done by hand. The result is a unique fusion of the highest achievements in the field of sound technology and jewelry art.

However, it is worth paying tribute to the creators of such an expensive little thing. Part of the proceeds from the sale of Utopia will go to a fund to help 8-year-old Louis Biscini, who suffers from a rare form of spinal muscular atrophy.
