For obvious reasons, it is now especially important for us to know that the various objects we touch do not carry any viruses. Smartphones have long been one of the dirtiest items we use on a daily basis. This is why Samsung decided to develop the ITFIT Portable UV Sterilizer for them. It not only kills up to 99% of microorganisms within 10 minutes, but also recharges the phone itself.
The ITFIT box even holds a huge Galaxy S20 Ultra - but you can sterilize any item in it. The box is connected to the power supply via a USB-C cable. At the same time, the built-in 10-watt Qi charger allows you to charge headsets, wireless headphones, smart watches and other gadgets right during sterilization.
Samsung does not directly claim that ITFIT is capable of killing the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus, but recent research suggests that shortwave UV lamps kill more than 99.9% of airborne coronaviruses.
At the moment, ITFIT is only available in Thailand for about $ 50. Soon it will most likely appear in stores in all other countries.
