This week, the Korean company Samsung announced its largest tablet ever. The novelty, dubbed the Galaxy View, sports an 18.4-inch Full HD screen.
Samsung Galaxy View is designed primarily for watching videos and web content. For the convenience of users, the tablet has a stand and a carrying handle. It weighs 2.65 kg with a case thickness of 11.9 mm.
The heart of the new large-sized Samsung tablet is the Samsung Exynos 7580 single-chip platform with an eight-core 64-bit processor, which is supplemented by 2 GB of RAM. A built-in flash drive of 32 or 64 GB is allocated for data storage, depending on the version.
For video communication, the manufacturer provides a front camera with a resolution of 2.1 megapixels. Also, the device is endowed with support for Bluetooth 4.1 with low energy consumption, Wi-Fi 802.11 and 4G LTE (optional) and has stereo speakers. The Galaxy View has a 5700 mAh battery, which, according to the manufacturer, is enough for 8 hours of video playback on a single charge.
In the US market, sales of the Samsung Galaxy View will begin next Friday, November 6th. The price of the issue is from $ 599, depending on the version.
