Samsung became the first company in the world to launch a smartphone with a curved display. But the South Korean giant does not intend to stop there and is already planning to start production of folding screens.
Samsung has announced its plans for the coming years. Where indicates that in 2015 the company will begin production of folding displays. They will find their application not only in smartphones and planets, but also in wearable gadgets, including smart watches.
This was confirmed by CEO Kon Oh Hyun during his speech at the Analyst Day conference. He also added that new foldable mobile devices from Samsung will hit the market in 2014.
