New Nintendo game console will run on Android

The notorious Japanese company Nintendo, which produces video games and game consoles, is preparing to release a new game console that will run the Android operating system.

Nintendo previously said it would not talk about its new NX console until 2016. However, this does not stop the sources, who report that it may be using the Android operating system. This will likely be a heavily modified version of the platform. If the stated turns out to be true, then for Nintendo it will be the first experience of using a third-party platform in its products, and in the future it will be useful to it in the release of games for various devices.

Previously, Nintendo announced that NX will not be positioned as a direct alternative to consoles such as the 3DS and Wii U. According to one version, it will be a hybrid device with which users can play both at home and on the go.

By the way, earlier Nintendo announced plans to enter the mobile games market. She, together with DeNA, will deal with the port of many beloved console games to mobile devices.
