Pulse adds real-time sound effects to your acoustic guitar

Acoustic guitar players looking to expand their instrument's sonic palette have this opportunity thanks to the new Pulse console developed by London-based startup Tonic Sound. With its help, musicians will be able to create a lot of unusual sound effects.

Pulse is activated by a manual switch. An LED indicator located next to the switch indicates when the sound effects are active. The device attaches to the front of the acoustic guitar with one end on the bridge pins, and the other end attaches to the pin. Various sound effects are created in real time and controlled by four sliders.

Pulse will debut at NAMM California this week ahead of the launch of its crowdfunding campaign in March 2018. There is no information on the price of the gadget yet.
