The camera name is Panono. It is about the size of a grapefruit and is equipped with 36 camera modules that simultaneously capture everything that falls into their lenses. The result is a full spherical panorama.
Each of the modules forms an image on a matrix with a resolution of 2 megapixels. As you might guess, the panoramic image has a resolution of 72 million pixels.
To get a 360-degree photo, you need to toss the ball camera up. At the highest point, the shutter is automatically triggered and the video image is transmitted via wireless communication channels (Bluetooth, Wi-Fi) to the mobile device.
You can view the resulting panoramic image on a tablet or smartphone by slightly tilting them from side to side. The estimated price of the new gadget with the start of serial production should be about $ 600.
