Google has developed the Pixel Buds headphones that can translate from language to language in real time. They are sometimes compared to the character of the ageless bestseller The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, the Babylonian Fish.
Headphones translate and make it possible to speak foreign languages, which was clearly shown at a Google presentation a few days ago. During the demonstration, a native English speaker was able to maintain a dialogue in Swedish with little difficulty.
According to the developers, Pixel Buds is a personal translator that is always there for you. So, for example, if you want to order pasta in Italy, like a native Italian, you just have to press the right earpiece and say: "Help me speak Italian." Now the speaker of the smartphone will speak loudly in Italian any phrases you speak in your native language. When the waiter answers you, you will hear the translated phrase in your headphones.
Pixel Buds are real polyglots, they already have 40 languages in their arsenal. The earbuds are compatible with all Pixel smartphones and Android 7.0 Nougat or newer. Sales are scheduled to start next month at $ 210.
