Polaroid launches Hi-Print Pocket Photo Printer. It transforms pictures from your smartphone into 6 x 9 cm stickers in less than a minute, which can then be glued to lockers, laptop covers, backpacks or photo albums.
With the departure of film photography technology in the past in 2008, the history of the once world famous company Polaroid came to an end. However, a group of her fans did find an opportunity to save the last Polaroid factory from closure by setting up cameras and film production in it as part of the Polaroid Originals project three years ago.
The Polaroid Hi-Print Portable Dye Sublimation Printer is a new generation device. It is charged with thermal paper cartridges, connects to the iOS / Android mobile app via Bluetooth and is then ready to print the selected images.
Thanks to the application, Hi-Print can print photos with superimposed frames, overlays, filters, texts and other effects. The image is transferred to a sheet of paper the size of a bank card and in less than a minute you get a sticker that is resistant to moisture and dirt, with an adhesive surface on the back.
One cartridge holds 10 sheets of photo paper. The power supply can print 20 items per charge. The Hi-Print has a retail price of $ 100. An additional $ 17 will cost a pack of two cartridges.
