Earlier, when the conversation turned to gaming laptops, the image of a large, heavy, humming laptop was immediately presented. However, now we can safely say that the era of these monsters has passed. The MSI GS70 notebook weighs only 2.6 kg with a thickness of 2.15 cm.
The GS70 features a 17.3-inch anti-glare display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080, an Intel Haswell Core i7-4700HQ processor, an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 765M graphics chip with 2GB of memory, and 16GB of DDR3 RAM running at 1600 MHz. Also, the laptop is equipped with HDMI and Mini DisplayPort outputs, Wi-Fi, four USB 3.0 ports and a 720p webcam.
The laptop comes in two versions, for 1799 $ and 1999 $. In the first case, a 128 GB solid state drive and a 750 GB hard drive are used as hard drives. In the second version, the laptop has a raid array of solid-state drives with a total volume of 128 GB and a 1 TB hard drive. Both versions ship with the Windows 8 operating system.
