Microsoft brings SharePoint to virtual reality

Two years ago, Microsoft redesigned its SharePoint software to compete more effectively with Dropbox (file hosting), Slack (enterprise messenger) and Box (cloud storage). Now the IT giant has made another successful move by integrating its business software suite into mixed reality headsets.

SharePoint is primarily used by businesses for office work, intranet sites, and internal corporate content management. There are about 400, 000 organizations worldwide among SharePoint users. However, until now, this software did not have an "outlet" for virtual reality headsets.

Now, thanks to him, the Microsoft product will become available for data manipulation and visualization. The company believes that the integration of SharePoint into the world of virtual reality will help enterprises train new employees, organize professional training and develop new products.
