The Civilization VI game has appeared in the App Store - the official version adapted for the iPad. Its porting was handled by Aspyr Media, which has already transferred a lot of game hits to Apple tablets. They also set restrictions: this application runs only on iPad Air 2, iPad Pro and iPad 2017, running iOS 11.
The game interface retains the classic elements of the Civilization series, to arrange objects they need to be dragged around the screen. To help the player, there are combinations of hot buttons on the smart keyboard and virtual arrows for navigating the game map. There is a section with DLC and multiplayer, alas, not cross-platform.
Civilization VI is listed as "Free" on the App Store, and it's true. Also, there are no microtransactions that have set the teeth on edge. However, the player is given only 60 moves to enjoy the game, after which the application requires you to buy it - for a modest fee of $ 60. But for the period of Christmas discounts, the price is half the price.
On February 18, 2018, the first big add-on for Civilization VI on PC will be released under the name "Rise and Fall", when it is still unknown to wait for the version for iPad. Another indirect disadvantage is that the current version of the game for iPad does not support the maximum screen resolution of a tablet with a diagonal of 12.9 inches. As a result, the picture looks a little blurry.
