As in most of the world's metropolises, housing in the center of Beijing is very expensive. Even a tiny apartment by Chinese standards is worth a fortune here. With this in mind, the Chinese People's Architectural Bureau has developed a project for a prefabricated house, the construction of which will cost its owner around $ 10, 000. But most importantly, you can assemble it in a day, without much experience, with just a hex wrench.
It all started with the fact that the Chinese woman Wang submitted an order to an architectural bureau for the construction of an extension to her parents' house, which by that time had become rather dilapidated. The builders demolished part of the building and added a residential section to what remained, which became a small modern home.
During the construction, frame technologies were used, including insulated modules, internal and external decoration was made, electrical wiring and plumbing were installed. All modules are interconnected by an integrated locking system using a special hex key.
The assembly can be done by two people - even a non-professional - in just 24 hours. In general, taking into account the cost and self-assembly, the house will cost the owner 30 times cheaper than a conventional commercial project.
The internal area of Mrs. Wang's construction is 27.8 sq. meters. The house consists of a living room and kitchen, a small roof terrace, windows providing good lighting. Due to the lack of sewerage in this area, the house has a dry closet and shower.
