Energizer is unveiling 26 new mobile phone models at Mobile World Congress (MWC) with several flagship features such as pop-up cameras, powerful 18, 000 mAh batteries and foldable displays.
New items will become part of four lines - Power Max, Ultimate, Energy and Hardcase. The bulk of these will be the base phones in the Energy and Hardcase lines, while the Power Max line will be complemented by a model with an 18, 000 mAh battery, the largest battery from Energizer to surpass the 16, 000 mAh Power Max P16K Pro. The Ultimate phones will feature retractable cameras and foldable displays.
Little is known about the technical characteristics of the new products, except for minor details about the phones of the "premium" line of Ultimate. According to the GSM Arena Association, which represents the interests of about 800 mobile operators around the world, Energizer Ultimate U620S Pop and U630S Pop operate on MediaTek Helio P70 and P22 chipsets, respectively, have two cameras in a retractable module - 16 MP main camera and 2 MP sensor depths.
The U620S Pop has three cameras on the back (16MP, 5MP and 2MP) with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of main memory. The phone will go on sale in July, while the U630S Pop with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of main memory will be available in June.
The phones are manufactured by the French company Avenir Telecom, which, for many years, has been selling low-end phones under the Energizer license.
All the details regarding the technical characteristics of the new devices, as well as their prices, will become known after February 25, when MWC-2019 starts working.
