Pebble Steel smartwatch presented in a steel case

At the CES 2014 exhibition that opened in Las Vegas, the successor to the highly popular Pebble smartwatch was announced. The new Pebble Steel differs from the original model only externally.

As stated, the only difference between the Pebble Steel and the Pebble is the case, which is now made of stainless steel rather than plastic. In addition, two types of straps are offered for solidity - with metal links and leather. The monochrome LCD display of the watch is protected by Gorilla Glass with an antibacterial coating.

The watch connects via Bluetooth to iPhone and Android smartphones and displays information about incoming calls, messages, notifications and letters. In addition, a dedicated online store will be launched by the end of January, which will collect all applications for Pebble smartwatches.

You can order the watch right now, but keep in mind that deliveries will start no earlier than January 28th. And if the original Pebble costs $ 149, then Pebble Steel will have to pay an additional $ 100 for solidity.
