An ordinary coffee table has been turned into a full-fledged game controller

Swiss designer Love Halten managed to combine two completely different objects in one - a coffee table and an arcade controller.

It looks like an ordinary coffee table with two metal handles with plastic knobs sticking out from under the tabletop. To reveal its secret, you need to pull the handles connected to the pull-out tray towards you.

The Tray is actually a full-fledged arcade controller for two players. To start the game, you need to unscrew the handles from the slots and insert them into the other holes located on the top of the tray, after which they turn into joysticks.

This one-of-a-kind creation is crafted from American walnut and brass. The kit includes a wireless unit for connecting to a TV. Unfortunately, there is very little information about the gaming capabilities of the "arcade table".

Love Hultén is best known for creating several non-standard products, including the Burger Advance game, the Geoboi arcade console and the handheld SK4, which was featured in an episode of the popular American evening show The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.
