Lollapalooza Rock Festival this year will be on YouTube and will be completely free

The famous annual Lollapalooza rock festival, like most of the mass events this year, will take place on YouTube from July 30 to August 2. The broadcast will begin at 6pm ET. And the best news is that it will be completely free.

In fact, over the past decade, Lollapalooza has already practiced broadcasting on YouTube.However, this is the first time in the history of the festival that it has acquired the scale of full substitution with a digital.

The Lollapalooza website reports that over 150 recordings of past performances and live performances by contemporary artists will be available at the time of the broadcast. From young bands we will see and hear the following bands: H.E.R., Kaskade, Louis the Child, The Neighborhood, Vic Mensa and Yungblud. In addition, sets from past festivals will be re-shown: Lorde, Paul McCartney, Outkast, Arcade Fire, Chance the Rapper, LCD Soundsystem, Metallica, Run The Jewels and Tyler the Creator.

For the festival, organizers plan to team up with three charitable foundations: the Illinois Arts Aid Foundation, the Equal Justice Initiative and When It's Time to Vote. The organizers are going to transfer donations to each of them in the amount of up to USD 10, 000.
